Interstellar Drive-In LED Building Set with Flying Saucer Diner

13 light zones, one retro-futuristic diner. Two light strips and eleven other illuminated areas give the Interstellar Drive-In its space-age glow, and the effect runs from the center of the saucer out to the rim.

A flying saucer with Googie bones

The round restaurant borrows its lines from Mel's Diner, so the curving Googie shapes sit right alongside the high-tech lighting.

• Illuminated center and outer rim of the saucer

• Circular diner structure drawn from classic American roadside architecture

Take it apart, then put it back your way

Lift off the saucer top and the restaurant roof to see the interior. The base plate comes off too and lies flat at 180 degrees. Interior decorations detach one by one, so kids can rearrange the counter and tables however they like.

Details that sell the diner

Vintage black-and-white floor tiles, chairs with a metallic finish, a bar counter and an order window. With indoor and outdoor dining areas, children can take orders, cook, and serve across several role-play setups.
